If you want to travel during Reading Week but are not sure where to go, how to afford it and what to do while you're there; you should sign up for a Habitat for Humanity Reading Week Trip. With multiple locations to choose from (Florida, Louisiana and El Salvador) you can escape the blistering Candian cold, enjoy the sun and help people out at the same time! You do not need previous construction experience to participate!

World Habitat Day

The purpose of World Habitat Day is to reflect on the state of our towns and cities, and on the basic right of all to adequate shelter. It is also intended to remind the world that we all have the power and the responsibility to shape the future of our cities and towns.

This year's events include giant Jenga, painting birdhouses, and a bake sale in MacKinnon Lobby! All donations go towards Habitat for Humanity!

We have a fun-filled week planned to fundraise for our volunteer trips!

Each day has a different theme! Stay tuned for more details!

If you are interested in volunteering at a Habitat Week Event, contact our coordinator Dana (dtscrit@mail.uoguelph.ca)

Habitat Week

This fundraising event is at Strom's Farm! Wristbands are $14 and give you all day access to the Harvest Fun. They also include transportation via our Habitat shuttle which goes back and forth between campus and the farm every hour AND a donation to Habitat for Humanity!
